A lot of us at times feel that music in some aspects is a dying art form. Some of us have lost hope in a lot of the music that we happen to discover on the radio and off. For those who do know me, know that I am a hip hop advocate, and I am very picky on who deserves the title as “Lyricist.” Well, I have found an individual who truly deserves the title as such. Hailing from Dallas, Texas is a brand new artist who has truly developed her own sound. Sam Lao is a new, vibrant and young female MC who has taken heavy hitting beat production and laced it with her own form of word play. She truly encapsulates how an MC is supposed to use every bit of the bit of the track without showing the production any mercy. She is truly along the lines of those who are bringing back what hip hop is all about.

If you didn’t know, well you need to know. Hailing from Pontiac, Michigan, an MC known by the name of J.G is making a lot of headway within the local music scene all throughout the state. His style of rhyming is very detailed and highly unique to the point that he captures your attention and is able to execute what he is portraying in each verse and in each song. I have been following this young man’s talent for quite some time. Ever since he released “HMS98” I was instantly a fan of his work. To be quite honest, he is a breath of fresh air to this unforgiving and unrelenting art form known as Hip Hop. He doesn’t have a style or method to his flow which makes him very unique. In essence, he just makes good music! I like to believe that is his style is different, unmatched, and it is something that he can truly hold as his own. With production courtesy of my brother, XOXAINEDEEZY, and many others, he is truly able to share his art, and his creations. I believe that he will make his mark in the music industry.
